32nd Annual Symposium – Fall 2017

On behalf of the Organization of Chemical Engineering Graduate Students at University of Houston, we would like to invite you to the 32nd Annual OChEGS Symposium.  The Symposium provides an exciting opportunity for the department’s graduate students to showcase their research for Houston’s engineering community. Fields of research include reaction engineering and catalysis, materials engineering, transport and separations, bio-molecular engineering. The goal is to promote communication and collaboration between the industrial representative and UH chemical engineering graduate students.

This year’s Symposium will take place from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on Friday, September 29th, 2017.  The agenda includes several graduate student oral presentation sessions and a keynote presentation by Dr. Michael A. Reynolds, Regional Discipline Lead for Production Chemistry at Shell. The event will be held on the main campus in the University’s Student Center Houston Ballroom.  Registration and breakfast will begin at 9:00 am.  Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

Please indicate whether you plan to attend this year’s event by completing the 2017 OChEGS Symposium Invitation form by September 28th 2017. Please also feel free to invite any colleagues or friends that may be interested in attending the Symposium as well.
