OChEGS

About Us

The Organization of Chemical Engineering Graduate Students at the University of Houston — uniting, supporting, and elevating ChBE graduate students for over 40 years.

Our Mission

Built by graduate students, for graduate students.

The Organization of Chemical Engineering Graduate Students (OChEGS) at the University of Houston brings together graduate students in chemical engineering to connect, collaborate, and build community. We provide a platform to network, exchange ideas, discuss research, and add a little fun to the graduate school experience — fostering a healthy social environment that complements a rigorous, research-driven life. Throughout the year we host faculty luncheons, picnics, seminars, and social and professional events that give students the chance to relax, recharge, and build meaningful connections beyond the lab.
