On behalf of the Organization of Chemical Engineering Graduate Students (OChEGS) at the University of Houston, it is our pleasure to invite you to our 41st Annual Research Symposium.
Each year, this symposium serves as a premier platform for our department’s graduate students to present their latest research. We are excited to showcase innovative research across our four core areas:
- Biomolecular Engineering
- Catalysis and Reactor Engineering
- Energy and Environmental Engineering
- Materials Science and Engineering
The event will take place in-person on November 20 from 8:00 AM CDT to 5:00 PM CDT at
Ballroom (East), Student Center South, 4455 University Dr, Houston TX, 77204.The agenda is packed with dynamic oral presentations from our graduate researchers highlighting a variety of chemical engineering disciplines.

- Dr. Pankaj S. Gautam – Leader, Strategic Advisory and External Partnerships at SABIC and a proud UH alum.
- Dr. Ajish Potty – Director at Merck, leading commercial AI and digital health, also a proud UH alum.
Our ultimate goal is to spark meaningful conversations and bridge the gap between academic research and industry application. We highly value the connections made between our graduate students and industry leaders.
